Een vriend is iemand ,
die er altijd voor je zal zijn ,
In goede en slechte dagen ,
Die je helpt als je verdriet hebt en pijn !
Een vriend zal altijd naast je staan ,
en nooit meer van je zijde gaan ,
ik weet nu wie men echte vrienden zijn ,
en ja dat gevoel is wonderfijn !
Ik hoop dat we heel ons leven vrienden blijven ,
en dat het nooit meer stuk gaat ,
Niemand zal er iets tussen krijgen,
Ik hoop dat jij me nooit verlaat !

especially 'cause it seems to me,
that you've nothing else to do,
but telling people I don't know,
about your own jealousy.

kicking me may break my bones,

your words are to me like a knife,
they really hurt a lot.
but real friends leave footprints,
people like you don't.
I knew it ever since,
I can't trust you, and I won't.
I'm crying inside my head,
but I don't make any sound.
on the outside I'm smiling instead,
I don't need ya'll around.

je vertrouwt ze,
daar kun je van op aan
je hebt ook mensen,
die noemen zich een vriend
maar als je ze dan nodig hebt,
laten ze je vallen, dat is niet verdiend
soms weet je het zelf niet,
wie kun je echt vertrouwen?
van wie kun je echt op aan?
op wie kun je bouwen?
ik wou dat deze vragen er niet waren,
dat zou ons heel veel stress
en ook veel zorgen sparen
